WorkOne CDL Scholarship Program
The Blackford County Community Foundation formalized a partnership with the
Blackford County Economic Development Corporation
and
WorkOne of Eastern Indiana
in August 2011 to provide scholarships for Blackford County residents wishing to take training for a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) through the Sage Truck Driving School at IVY Tech in Marion. The Foundation has granted $9,500 to support local residents.
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Reside in Blackford County,
Be 21 years old or more,
Have a clear driving record,
Pass a drug screening.
