Internships
The Blackford County Community Foundation has been hosting interns every semester since the fall of 2010. The Foundation received a Lilly Endowment to fund the intern program with two specific goals:
- Building and heightening awareness of the Foundation’s mission and making the organization at its countywide impact more valuable.
- Supporting economic vitality and community enrichment throughout Blackford County.
Possible intern projects include:
- Enhancing the Foundation website
- Implementing social media initiatives
- Collecting grant recipient stories
- Working on the quarterly newsletter
- Drafting press releases and other publicized reports
- Working on the annual report
- Supporting community projects and initiatives
Payment is $11/hour up to 20 hours/week. To apply, send a cover letter and resume directly to the Foundation addressed to Dr. Linda Walker.
